If life gives you lemons, make lemonade, and if rains on your wedding day, buy fun umbrellas! May in Missouri is no stranger to rainy days, but that doesn't stop the beauty of a St. Louis weddings. We were blessed again to have a good patch of sunshine at Forest Park and then headed to City Cottage on Chouteau for Colin and Becca's wedding. Among the adoring family and friends was Becca's amazing grandma. Bending close, face to face, she shared her prayers and words of love and wisdom though out the day. These precious moments were a true blessing to witness. It was an elegant and laid back evening, with amazing food by Catering St. Louis, cupcakes by The Cup, and a Lego bride and groom sporting collegiate pride, to top them off. We were so thankful to be there and honored to tell Becca and Colin's wedding day story.

I had the pleasure of shooting Scott and Julie's beautiful, St. Louis Wedding at the Probation Golf Course in Forest Park. We couldn't have asked for a more better, early spring day. All the personal details made this day a masterpiece. Scott carved all the stumps himself. Julie dazzled in her graceful, cap sleeve, keyhole dress. There was a s'mores bar, fire pit, and Ski soda, all favorite of the couple. Most of the honor of being part of this amazing day, is because Scott is my daughter's preschool teacher. We are so thankful for his daily care and teaching in our baby girl's life. It was incredible to witness all the joy of his and Julie's friends and family as they literally, "Tied the Knot."

Wesley and Christinia had a beautiful fall day for their simple and elegant fall wedding. The whole day was was a delightful mix of vintage and modern. Christina wore Chuck Taylor's with her lace gown. Wesley walked her down the aisle followed by a bread sharing ceremony. Dinner was served family style by Entre Events and they cut pie instead of cake. The day was full of laughter and warmth. It was a blessing to witness.
