St. Louis Photographer | Mills Apple Orchard | Wayne & Michelle Wedding
A Fall wedding in an apple orchard. Simple, elegant, and really fun! We were so excited to be joining the family in Troy, Illinois. What a lovely weekend for a beautiful farm wedding at Mills Apple Orchard. Wayne and Michelle put together a beautiful event, with most of the genius and work coming from Michelle’s mom. Their friends and family worked tirelessly until the last minute making sure everything was in place. Blue skies, sunshine, and lots of smiles.

Michael & Lauren | Wedding Photography | Hillsboro, IL
A couple of Saturdays ago we traveled to the charming and hospitable town of Hillsboro, IL. A town made of wide open spaces, high school sweethearts and everyone knows everyone. We were met with hugs all around as if we had been part of the family all along. They called for rain all day, but by the time the guest arrived we had a beautiful day, even a little sunshine. Sure it gets really, really hot and it can seem ecologically uninteresting compared to ocean views or mountain ranges, but the more I see of my home state the more I realize that Missouri is actually beautiful. Chris and Melissa introduced me to a new location that is on the top of “naturally beautiful” list. Places like this feed the soul and my wedding photography grows each week these kinds of inspirations. Quail Ridge Lodge is located, just outside St. Louis in Wentzville, MO. It is…

Bryan and Corinne – Overlook Farm – Clarksville, MO
It was humbling and thrilling to be asked to photograph our friends, Bryan and Corinne’s, wedding. They have such a fun and contagious love. The way Bryan looks and Corinne and the way she laughs when they are together makes you want to cheer for this union. With burlap and lace, grassy fields and wedding sky, (blue with big fluffy clouds,) we had the most beautiful day to celebrate Corinne and Bryan with their family and friends. Overlook Farm was the perfect setting for this gorgeous weekend. An intimate ceremony with lemonaid and fan programs was followed by dinner and dancing under the stars. We love Clarksville! To see more from…
