I thought I would take a break from the heat this week to feature one of our favorite fall weddings. Greg and Mary threw an elegant, fall bash, on a cool November weekend. Classic black and white with hints of gold fit together perfectly in the historic Chase Park Plaza. Take a look at some of our favorite moments from their wedding story.

Max and Kailey’s engagement session was bright spot in the never ending St. Louis winter. When the sun shines, we get out and shoot. Engagement photos are a huge part of the wedding story. It is the gathering mission for authentic moments and the smiles, in preparation for the wedding day to come. Beautiful Mess Photography offers a complimentary engagement session with our wedding collections. We want to know you better and to make your photography personal, candid, and comfortable. Here are some of our favs from Max and Kailey’s winter engagement.
To escape the mid July swelter we don here in St. Louis, I took Brett and Melissa to the Missouri History Museum. We shot the first part of their engagement surrounded in light and simplistic beauty of the museum, then ventured in the shade, and heat of Forest Park. Brett and Melissa brought classic bicycles, which added a special charm and a real glimpse of who they are as a couple. I’m excited to be shooting their wedding this fall. I can’t wait to capture more of their easy smiles and see bicycle themed elements of what I’m sure will be a beautiful day.
Meet Mara. Class of 2016. She loves to read and trade closets with her friends. She works as a summer camp counselor and is an overall, fantastic girl. Thank you to Mara and her family for letting us capture some beautiful and silly moments as we celebrate this time in her life. Here are some of the favorites from her senior portraits session.
Between David’s humble heart, and Laura’s contagious smile, this wedding day was exploding with beautiful moments of authenticity and laughter. We were honored to work with David and Laura. They planned and executed a classic St. Louis church wedding, followed by carefree and fun reception at Tapawingo National Golf Club. The night comprised of photo booth antics and dancing and finished with fireworks. It was a perfect day and glowing night. I’m so thankful to be able to share in their wedding story.
