It may seem like it is a little late for a “Best of 2022” post, but it is not. Sometimes it takes me a month to rest and reflect on the million miles an hour the past year has been. January was filled with celebrations and challenges alike. This winter has been a season to recover and regroup. Best of 2021

Happy New Year! I am back at my desk and can’t wait to see what happens next! 2021 went flew by, but not without some really beautiful moment. St. Louis Engagement | St. Louis Art Museum | Shanna + Jacob

Capturing Shanna and Jacob’s engagement story was a truly joyful moment. The couple has lived apart for the grater part of 2019 and although I have known Shanna since January, this was my first time meeting Jacob. It couldn’t have been more perfect. They laughed easily and were so comfortable together. Shanna has been instrumental in helping me improve my strength and health this year. She is a talented coach and beautiful friend. It was a gift to see her so adored by Jacob. I couldn’t not be more excited to celebrate their marriage in December! All the happy tears!

Haley’s Iced Mango dress, a Pantone color for 2019, was the perfect accent for this bright occasion. The couples connection to Concordia Seminary made it the perfect backdrop for our shoot. Their genuine love and laughter really came through as we cheered the warmth of spring.
