Growing up in photography & getting through Covid

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Last year, during Covid, was a real challenge. Inevitable cancelations and constantly being unsure of what would happen next was beyond stressful. I asked for help. I have not been a successful photographer without a vast network of support and encouragement.

It was time to get creative. Like many business owners, I learned to adapt and find new ways to make ends meet. I reached out to friends and neighbors to book family porch sessions. I started filling in with more lifestyle branding sessions and headshots. I gained a whole new appreciation for photographing weddings and portraits. Being able to connect and tell the stories of my community really is a privilege.

Now, I am focused on small weddings and elopements to bring even more personalized service and fresh perspectives to our clients. Best of all, I was able to finish an art project that was seven years in the making. I showcased my work through a virtual gallery show called “ThreeHouse.” See other fine artwork here https://www.beautifulmessphoto.com/printshop.
